I like that concept :). I think 1RR is an appropriate cost for the possibility of multiple cards generated off of a red card, though at CMC 3 I could see him as a 3/1 or a 2/1 with an ability (probably haste, but first strike would be nice since it gives the creature a little staying power).

Edit: Just saw that the little dude's an uncommon. I still think he's sweet! 5/5.

I've never really been a fan of Last Laugh style effects, but I suppose the fact it's at least only your creatures triggering it is somewhat fine? Has a chance of blowing up in your face if you're playing low toughness creatures I guess? Very difficult.

Feels like it would have a memory issue. Like if it gets a +1/+1 counter can it block one more creature? If so, i think it should be worded more like " can block a number of creatures equal to its power"... Or something similar.

I don't know if this should be blue or if it should be red, but either way it's extremely powerful instant speed. Faithless Looting is sorcery speed, and you will be casting it for revolt almost always because you can just do it after blocks (also fetch lands exist) but I definitely like it.

Honestly, I wish this was a Leaves the Battlefield trigger rather than a death trigger, and perhaps that it was 1GG or the such - even with these it's still off colour for green (temporary advantage of this style seems like it'd be a Grixis card instead). Totally down with cubing it, though.

I can hear Arsonist now screaming that he wants this. I love it. I splashed black in my Kuldotha Rebirth deck for side board cards, but I would play this main deck. This card is amazing! 10/10! Hot chocolate for you!

The only thing is that killing one creature is going to kill this guy. Regardless of its toughness. If it were -1/-1 per POWER it might be better because you could nuke a few 0 power dudes before cashing it in for a stronger one.

Every combination is the perfect tool for an Azorius control deck. Admittedly WotC would probably require it to be 5 mana or, maybe, be a choose two with four different combos available from that but still, very nice.

That's pretty fly for a Death Mutation.
(Seriously that card's a million mana because any decent targets against a deck that abuses the 1/1s is pretty backbreaking, and this is both less restrictive and gives better tokens. Really good card but I can imagine that it'd be 6+.)

I think I like it. Sort of like a weird pseudo-discard spell, I guess? It either takes a removal spell from everyone or you've gotten an undercosted creature and stolen some sort of beneficial effect.

I'm going for a cycle:

Smiting Breath 3WW
Instant (R)
Smiting Breath deals 3 damage to each attacking creature.
Whenever two or more creatures attack you, you may pay 1W and exile Smiting Breath from your graveyard. If you do, copy it and cast the copy without paying its mana cost.


Freezing Breath 2UU
Instant (R)
Target opponent skips his or her next untap step.
Whenever two or more creatures attack you, you may pay U and exile Freezing Breath from your graveyard. If you do, copy it and cast the copy without paying its mana cost.


Choking Breath 3BB
Instant (R)
Creatures your opponent control get -2/-2 until end of turn.
Whenever two or more creatures attack you, you may pay 1B and exile Choking Breath from your graveyard. If you do, copy it and cast the copy without paying its mana cost.


Searing Breath 2R
Instant (R)

I really like the cycle concept. I feel like U's trigger is too cheap, B's too expensive (or should be bigger than -2/-2). G also feels like its pretty OP from the GY.

That's a really interesting. As worded, you have a few chances to hedge on the 'casting' side of the card (since it sees every card you exile, not just the one being exiled to pay the cost). Probably needs to cost more mana since there's a point in the game where this is instant speed exiling discard during the draw step, where there's no cost to pay either. Either that or be a tap ability/sorcery speed.

Custode of Broken Lines BR
Creature - Vampire Berserker (u)
Spells that target Custode of Broken Lines cost 2 more to cast.
Loner - 1, Discard a creature card: Custode of Broken Lines gets +2/+0 until end of turn. Activate this ability only if you control no other creatures.
