Hi thread. I just found out that the local A&W is closing and being torn down, which makes me very sad. Best fast food in town. It's been around since the 50's, and there were still some holdovers from the less penny-pinching days of fast food, like using big thick strips of bacon on their burgers. Not to mention the always amazing root beer floats and freezes. I don't get fast food very often, but that place was special.

Maybe, maybe not. Apparently the owner wants to build a new building on the lot and make a franchise deal with some new restaurant.

Yeah it's actually fantastic. Didn't think it was good enough for my EDH but with that art I might reconsider.
Really like the new Frenzied art as well.

Hi thread. Today is off to a good start. Currently downloading Nier Automata because it finally went on a good sale, while watching Civil War again and eating tamales.

No. Never even heard of it until a video on Automata mentioned it, but I understand the new game isn't exactly a narrative sequel.

nier has a plot twist that actually makes that impossible

You know I don't usually care all that much about masters sets, but this one has somehow managed to reprint literally nothing I care about. All the good EDH cards in the set are cards that have already been reprinted and/or weren't that expensive in the first place, with the exception of Coalition Relic and the filter lands, which are fairly replaceable anyway.

My fourteen acquisitions for this set are:
[card]Kongming, "Sleeping Dragon"[/card], Promise of Bunrei
Jalira, Master Polymorphist
Ancient Craving, Fallen Angel, Undead Gladiator, [card]Will-o'-the-Wisp[/card]
Zada, Hedron Grinder, Ire Shaman, Balduvian Horde, Imperial Recruiter
Regrowth
Shadowmage Infiltrator
Ash Barrens

Haven't even started to look at pauper acquisitions.

Never played Jeleva so I have very little criticism. However, Prince of Thralls is a very sweet card I sometimes forget exists.

It really is. I don't think id seen him before I started looking for this deck. I don t think its a usual jeleva build. Made it as more of a mirror match type thing me and arix were takking about a few weeks back.

Oooh, fun trivia, too. Bribery is the first 20 dollar card I've ever traded for.

that isn't the real problem, the issue is that their ev model was built around cards with high prices because of scarcity rather than demand so the set's a dud like iconic was

(as a side effect, that probably means jace's price doesn't get affected by the set, however it is proving to be poor in modern right now so that has more effect)
